Building Brighter Futures Together

River City YouthBuild is dedicated to unleashing the intelligence and positive energy of young people to transform their lives and rebuild their communities.

As an affiliate of an incredible nationwide network, our program provides opportunity youth the pathways to redefine their lives through educational, professional, and leadership development.

The YouthBuild Model

YouthBuild provides a pathway to education through General Education Development (GED) and High School Diploma classes, as well as on-site construction work experience or exposure to the health care field through a pre-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) track.

To enhance this experience, the program also provides job skills training, leadership development, exposure to community service (via AmeriCorps), and access to supportive services during and after graduating from the program.

This investment transforms youth into educated and economically self-sufficient young men and women.
